Remember that?

I've been accused of being a packrat, and I don't think I've ever had grounds to deny it. But every once in a while, I'm glad I am. I scanned most (no, surprisingly, not all) of the old programs I had in a folder downstairs. Wow, did these bring back memories. It also helped all those "What was her name?" -type questions get resolved. I imagine I'll use these as a springboard to go find more people on Classmates. I hope you enjoy pawing through these as much as I did.....

1986 - 87

1986 - Good: Feb 27, 28 and March 1, 6, 7, 8 (I didn't get to attend the production, but came across a program somehow)

1986 - Flowers For Algernon: April 24, 25, 26, May 1, 2, 3 - again, this was before my days at Johnson Hall -- if you have programs, send me pictures!

1986 - Summer Cafe Theatre: June & July. The Foreigner, The Iron Butterfly and Educating Rita were the 3 repertoire shows.

1986 - A Chorus Line: November 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22

1987 - Love's Labour's Lost: February 26, 27, 28, March 5, 6, 7

1987 - The Miracle Worker: April 23, 24, 25, 30, May 1, 2

This was in production about the time I was in rehearsals for my senior show in high school, but I must've glommed onto the program somewhere.
Cast list of "Good"

The first productions I attended at CSU were the summer reheats

I still find myself using quotes from "The Foreigner"

I recall Rich's smoky solo -- or am I imagining that?

I don't recall much about this one (must've been swimming with my first college homework)

I'm a little sad that the programs in "my" years there didn't have room (budget?) for some of the interesting photos like this. Ron Stoffregen -- what's he up to these days?

The first show in which I was personally involved. I'll never forget those 3-sided behemoths....

Chad Leeper and Dan Hollingshead making the next cut of the hopefuls

Joe Hall and Kirt Shineman, in a dramatic moment.

I only wish this weren't so fuzzy.

And I really wish this weren't fuzzy -- it seemed to me to be a fantastic finale -- was I starry-eyed, or was it really good?

I so clearly remember being cast in this -- I'd hit the big-time!

As one of the props masters on this, I will forever have memories of frozen pickles.
Cast list of "The Miracle Worker"

The graduating seniors, who I had way too little time with: Miranda Odom, Wende Curtis, Charlotte Leslie, Kim Schuster, Lesli Pusjkin, Mark Liermann

I found a random photo from some cast or house party, with Scott Hunter, me, and David Chase

1987 - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: November 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21

1987 - Carnival - Ft. Collins Civic Theatre. Shela Jennings directed, and a few of us "college kids" were in the production.

1988 - Mother Courage: February 25, 26, 27, March 3, 4, 5

1988 - H.M.S. Pinafore: April 14, 15, 16, 17

My first experience with the Summer Cafe Theatre

I snagged a few pictures from the cast board of that summer -- I don't think Kurt Muenstermann looks a day older today, dammit.

And not that I look any older, but I was SO very young then!! (not to mention sunburnt -- SPF, Pam, SPF...)

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat -- that was a fun production

Mother Courage -- this was about the time I started to fade away from the department :(

1989 - Ah, Wilderness!: April 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 -nope, nothin' on this one, either. Man, that boy just wasn't worth all that I missed!
